Subsidised places on 2026 FESSH Academy Foundation Course

The Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH) are offering two subsidised places to surgeons nominated by the BSSH on their 2026 Academy Foundation Course in Hand Surgery. The course will take place between 11th February - 14th February 2026 in Prague.

If you would like to apply, please complete the application form linked below and return it to sabrina.nabi@bssh.ac.uk by Sunday 20th July. All applications will be reviewed and ranked by a panel of BSSH Council members. The successful candidates will be contacted after 31st August.

This four day course covers the whole breadth of hand surgery with lectures, practicals, and discussion groups. It is suitable for senior trainees preparing for the EBHS exam, and for more experienced surgeons wanting to update their knowledge. The course has an experienced international faculty and is heavily subsidised by FESSH.
