Specialist Trainees in Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery\n2. Hand Therapists\n3. Hand Surgeons\nMaximum 21 participants\, 7 per table\n\nFormat:\nThe day is based on sessions of prosection conducted by Faculty with a maximum of 8 participants seated around each table. Participants will perform no dissection but will be free to assist\, to question\, request clarification\, discuss.\n\n1. Lecture on principles of tendon transfers/ Median Nerve anatomy\, paralysis and Transfers (DS)\n\n2. Dissection session on Tendon Transfers for Median nerve paralysis\nThe 4 main oppositionplasties\n\n3. Lecture on Ulnar nerve anatomy\, paralysis and transfers (DS)\n\n4. Dissection session on Tendon transfers for Ulnar Nerve paralysis\na. Correction of the Intrinsic minus hand\nb. Adductorplasty of the thumb\nc. Adductorplasty of the little finger\nd. Supplementary techniques (Tenodesis\, stabilisation etc)\n\n5. Lecture on Radial Nerve anatomy\, paralysis and transfers (HG)\n\n6. Demonstration Dissection session on Tendon Transfer for Radial Nerve paralysis (HG)\na. Restoration of thumb extension\nb. Restoration of Wrist extension\nc. Restoration of long digit extension\n\n7.
