DESCRIPTION:This is a 2-day accredited hand fixation workshop in combination with Medartis aimed at plastic and orthopaedic consultants and trainees who deal with hand fractures. (Please note that the course is followed by a 1-day wrist fixation workshop on 15 March).\n\nThe faculty consist of national and international hand surgeons\, with a high faculty to delegate ratio. The course will consist of a balanced mix of lectures\, practical sessions (using saw bones) and discussion groups. Topics covered during the 2 days include:\n\nK-wires in fracture fixation\n\nSurgical approaches to the hand: metacarpal and phalanges\n\nCondylar fractures\n\nLocking plates\n\nRolando fractures\n\nThe course fee includes lunch and online course materials.\n\nBook tickets and further details.\n\n
